Principal at Taram Capital. I'm passionate about venture capital as a way to support founders, understand technology in depth, and connect people and projects that otherwise wouldn't cross paths.
I work as a Principal at Taram Capital, where I lead Compliance and Investor Relations for the three funds we manage. I studied Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, but soon understood that my path wasn't in legal practice but in venture capital. I've been at Taram since the beginning, more than six years ago; I joined as an Associate and, together with Felipe, managed our first fund throughout its entire investment period. Today I remain involved in the whole operation of the management company. What drives me isn't returns for their own sake. I care that capital has an impact — improving lives, connecting ideas that at first glance seem unrelated, and putting my network at the service of others. I believe that in a world where AI will take on an increasingly leading role, human relationships — both personal and business — will become more valuable, not less. Outside Taram I'm active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem: I'm a mentor at IncubaUdeC and at Startup Chile, and I've been a judge at Glocal Norpatagonia and Startup Chile BIG 12. I like being close to founders at different stages, not only from the investor's side. I'm also the founder and host of Intravista Podcast, an interview space that has nothing to do with entrepreneurship: I talk with people from the worlds of literature, politics, science and art, following my curiosity toward authors and current or interesting topics, without an industry filter. I define myself as a generalist, with almost infinite interests. Outside of work, I do rock climbing, diving and trekking, I enjoy outdoor sports, and I've visited more than 35 countries and counting. I enjoy reading fantasy, science fiction and non-fiction on topics such as economics, culture and science.
